COVID shut us down, and the Landlord kept us there.
While the mandatory shutdown has long ended, the Landlord decided to commit fraud through and against the business, forcing us to stay closed. The Landlord:
- Mallory Kauderer stole $150,000 of his tenant's government pandemic relief
- Kauderer retaliated with sham retaliatory evictions over 5 properties when confronted about it
- Kauderer had the power cut off and left all vendors unpaid. despite possessing the business' funds
- IT Hacker and literal clown Ian Loughlin commandeers Instagram on behalf of Kauderer, causing confusion and resentment
- Kauderer lies to The Miami New Times and Miami Herald, succeeding in pushing a false narrative
- Mallory Kauderer restrained the trade of Dale, DLA, and Churchills coming out of a pandemic by deactivating and stripping the liquor license required in the lease
- Kauderer sent cops to harass and shut Churchills down when trying to re-open after 11 months of forced closure
- Mallory Kauderer dodged process service for 4 months to manipulate the legal system, enact financial retribution on Dale, and evade justice
- Kauderer and Aaron Goldstein "influenced" police and enforced a wrongful arrest
- Kauderer's agent Donita Leavitt lied in Court under Oath regarding several material facts.
They've played the government. They've played the media. They've played the police. They've played the courts.
But they didn't play us (ok, maybe a little).
We cannot continue to allow developers and landlords to bully their tenants and weaponize their knowledge of the legal system against us.
These bad actors are a danger and embarrassment to our City.
